Happy Mother's Day

had a wonderful Mother's Day. Spent it w/the love of my life & my fav! Funny how I recall carrying him n my tummy & talking/reading to him. I remember praying to GOD for a healthy, happy child & the skills to provide, nurture & teach him. Over the past 10 yrs I know GOD heard me. I almost shed tears. I am truly proud of how brilliant, caring, loving, happy and funny my son is. Very well rounded my heart is smiling

Honesty Hour: Part Deux

When I decided to begin blogging again I made a mental note to exclude posts concerning sex as well as sexuality.  After looking back regarding sharing my experience with abstinence, and a few encounters, although I received great feedback I felt some type of way about the information published. I feel as if it is a vulnerable and private space which should remain sacred.  However as I dive deeper into my Self along this journey of Spirituality, Consciousness and self discovery, I am realizing how Sexuality is coming to mind more often than ever before.  With that being said   I guess I should start from the beginning (so to speak). How Did I Get Here?

"Yet you desired faithfulness even in the womb; you taught me wisdom in the secret place" Psalms 51:6   According to my mother, she was unaware that she was carrying me until she was approximately 5 months pregnant.  She never experienced morning sickness or missed that "special time" us girls love so much (catch the sarcasm), she continued her life without the discomfort most women experience during their first pregnancy.  I don't recall how she realized that she was in fact pregnant however I do recall her telling me the story of how she named me.   She said she was sitting alone and heard a voice tell her "I need you, come here" so from that (as ridiculous as it may sound) she named me, *******  Kamille.  For most of my life I thought that story was completely embarrassing and I had even grown to hate my name, choosing to go by Kamille instead.  As I type these words, I now understand how it tied together.  You see GOD knew that I h...
